Landfill Rates
As Of January 1, 2010
In accordance with provisions of Ohio's recent budget bill, signed into law by Governor Strickland on July 17, 2009, Ohio's municipal solid waste disposal fee will increase from $3.50 per ton to $4.75 per ton. One dollar of the increase will be deposited into Ohio's Environmental Protection Fund. The remaining twenty-five cents of the increase will be used to fund soil and water conservation programs though the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The increase was effective August 1, 2009.
